Ellen Sanchez

For over 25 years, I have worked with — and learned from — children and young people, in public schools and private schools, and in health and wellness organizations, focusing on filling the gap in education about sexuality and gender. I develop curricula and innovative programs for schools, communities, and families to address the social and emotional learning of students in this often-neglected area.

I design and deliver services to parents, teachers, school district officials, and social services professionals to prepare them as partners in the comprehensive education of young people.

My mission is to ensure that our children have well-informed and supportive adults in their lives who can guide them with compassion and understanding as they develop throughout their childhood and adolescence.
